America. You are the only place I have ever lived. You are amazing and there is no place I would rather live.
The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays because it can mean something different for everyone. To me, it means family, fireworks, laughs, ice cream, and freedom.
On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed. The 13 colonies signed this and claimed their freedom from England. 56 men signed this declaration. They changed the lives of more men, women, and children than they could have ever imagined.
We celebrate the Fourth of July not to have a day off work or to get drunk with our friends. We celebrate because we are a free nation. 240 years ago, 56 men changed history. We are forever grateful for them. Instead of getting drunk and thinking about how much work you will have to do tomorrow, enjoy our nation! Celebrate with the other 300 million people in the United States of America! God bless you and God Bless America!
